TOSTEM, part of LIXIL Corporation, being the pioneer and industry leader of aluminum door and window from Japan, participated in IndoBuildTech 2023 which took place in JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on November 29 to December 2, 2023. This event signified the ongoing celebration of TOSTEM’S 100 Year of Wisdom, following the success of the TOSTEM Asia Design Awards, held in 18-20 October 2023 in Tokyo, Japan, to honor talented architects based in Indonesia, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines. 

Originally founded as Myokenya Shoten in 1923 by Takejiro Ushioda in Tokyo, Japan, TOSTEM has consistently pioneered in many housing innovations with the passion to better every life for the best living. “TOSTEM inherits the Japanese craftsmanship to ensure the best accuracy and quality in every product that we offer,” Masakatsu Kudo, the President Director of PT LIXIL Aluminium Indonesia explained.

TOSTEM showcased one of the latest innovations through the newest GRANTS series, specifically the aluminum sliding door with the vast size up to 4,5 meter high. In addition to the revolutionary height, the sliding door also came with a flat rail system to ensure a seamless transition between inside and outside.

Corner Sliding Door also emerged as one of the featured innovations. Providing solution to living space with an open corner, this product bonds harmony with the environment and creates unrestricted panoramic view with the comfort of a home.

Dusk Gray, the color that complemented both featured products, was introduced as TOSTEM’s cutting-edged technology to bring a uniqueness to your home. The color is inspired by the warming twilight shade of sunset in Japan and reflects TOSTEM's DNA that emphasizes the harmony with nature, along with the commitment in pursuing door and window design with sensitivity of every changes in our lives.

To furthermore simplify everyday living, TOSTEM presented ATIS series with an evolutionary aluminum door and window design that offers the utmost safety and lightweight function. The AirFlow series, effective at delivering optimal ventilation and reducing indoor pollutants, came along as a solution for a healthier living space.

Concluding the 100 Year of Wisdom celebration, this exhibition symbolized the new chapter for TOSTEM in delivering the best of both innovation and quality, with design as a solution to bring perfection and comfort in life. Masakatsu Kudo expressed his gratitude towards all parties contributing to the success of this event.
